About SCB

I started this Soccer Cards Blog (SCB) to share my thoughts on the soccer trading card hobby as well as being a platform for getting a few sales and trades done to further my own collection. As for myself, I'm just your average collector, not a hobby insider by any means. I'm based in the USA and have been collecting soccer for a few years now ranging from low-end base cards to higher-end certified autograph and memorabilia chase cards.

I'm a massive Mexican football fan so most of my collection focuses on players relating to "el Tri", with a special emphasis on Cuauhtémoc Blanco, Javier "Chicharito" Hernández, Rafael Márquez and Hugo Sánchez. There isn't really that much to collect of those players with each of them having less than 100 licensed cards issued with the exception of Rafa Márquez who has surpassed the century mark.

Seeing as how there isn't an abundace of Mexican futbol cards to collect I also have a few side projects in my collection devoted to rookie, jersey and signature cards of notable players I like, including Lionel Messi, Ronaldinho, Xavi, Ronaldo, Zidane, Maradona and a few others. Another one of my projects is complete sets, especially European/North/South American ones from the 90's. I also look out for anything else that catches my eye.

I can be contacted for potential sales, trades, or any other inquiries at my e-mail address which can be found in the "Contact" page to the left. Of course you can always contact me through the blog itself by selecting the comment option after every blog entry.
